WHAT IS REIKI?
Rei - means universal, Ki - is another name for energy.... the life force.
Reiki is one of the simplest, oldest and most effective methods of holistic healing known to the civilised world. Pronounced ray-key; its origin lies in ancient Indian sutras, and in Tibetan practices, which are thousands of years old.
Reiki heightens the natural use of healing energy. A Reiki-trained person is a clear channel of energy for healing and vitality.
Reiki can balance bodily functions. It also releases blocks and suppressed feelings and promotes natural self-healing. After a Reiki treatment, the body feels more balanced, awareness is enhanced, pain relieved, toxins moved and the life force energy strengthened.
